Browser-based processing

The majority of ToolNest tools run entirely inside your web browser. When you use these tools, your files and data are processed locally on your own device and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.

Server-assisted tools

A small number of advanced tools may send files to a secure processing service. In those cases, files are encrypted in transit, used only to perform the requested operation, and automatically deleted within one hour. We never read, sell or share your documents.

Information we collect

• Basic, anonymous usage analytics to understand which tools are popular and improve them.
• Local browser storage for your preferences, such as dark mode and recently used tools. This stays on your device.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies and local storage strictly for functionality and anonymous analytics. We do not use them to personally identify you.

Third-party services

Some tools load open-source libraries from a content delivery network to function. These are used purely for processing and do not receive your personal data.
