On a day that saw just one goal scored in two matches, Portugal vs Ghana looked to be heading in the same direction. But it all changed in the second half when Ghana conceded a penalty & Ronaldo scored a record-breaking goal. Andre Ayew restored parity for the Black Stars but Portugal swiftly reacted & raced to a two-goal advantage through goals from Joao Felix & Rafael Leao.
Osman Bukari pulled one back & hit the SIUUU but there wasn’t to be another equaliser on the night. Fernando Santos’ side held on for the three points to go top of Group H.
